The official server, in numbers
Oopbuy runs an official Discord server, reached through the invite code oopbuyofficial. When we opened the invite on 1 October 2026, it showed about 187,000 members with roughly 7,800 online. A public server directory listed the same server with about 185,000 members and the "OOP" server tag a few days earlier. Numbers like these are hard to fake, which makes the member count the quickest check that you are in the right place.
The server describes itself as a place for support and special discounts. In practice it is three things: an announcement channel for events and changes, a community where buyers share hauls and questions, and one of the channels through which Oopbuy staff answer questions.
Join through the official invite and check for a member count in the six figures.
What the Discord is actually useful for
| Use | How useful | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Event announcements | High | Seasonal events, coupon drops and rule changes often appear here first |
| Points and event tasks | Medium | Some tasks are Discord-only, such as sharing an event video for points |
| Haul and QC sharing | Medium | Useful for real photos from other buyers; judge each post on its own |
| Support questions | Medium | Good for quick questions; open an account ticket for anything involving money |
| Finding items | Low to medium | Links are scattered; a spreadsheet is faster for browsing |
The most concrete benefit is events. One past campaign rewarded sharing an event task video in a Discord share channel with 1,000 points, one claim per Discord account, issued after the event. Rules like that change with every campaign, so read the event post itself. Coupons and points you win still appear in your Oopbuy account, not in Discord; the coupon guide explains where.
Follow the announcements for events; use spreadsheets, not chat scrollback, to find items.
Fake servers and how to spot them
Because the Oopbuy name draws traffic, smaller servers borrow it. Public directories list servers with Oopbuy in the name and a few thousand members that describe themselves as general shopping communities. Some are harmless fan groups; some exist to push other sellers or collect logins. Five checks catch almost all of them:
- Member count. The official server has around 187,000 members. A server with a few thousand calling itself "Oopbuy official" isn't.
- The invite source. Use the invite from Oopbuy's own website or this page, not one sent to you in a direct message.
- Who messages first. Real staff rarely open a private conversation with you. Unsolicited "support" DMs are the most common scam on any agent's Discord.
- Requests for payment. Oopbuy takes payment on oopbuy.com or in its app, never through a Discord message or a personal payment link.
- Requests for your password or verification codes. No one needs them. Anyone asking is trying to take over your account.
If someone in Discord asks for money or a code, it isn't Oopbuy, whatever the profile picture says.
Lock down your Discord before joining
Large public servers attract scammers who message members privately. Discord has a setting that stops this: in the server's privacy settings, turn off direct messages from other server members. Real staff can still answer you in public support channels, and you won't get "support" messages from strangers. It is also worth turning on two-factor authentication for your Discord account, since a stolen Discord account is often used to message the victim's contacts with scam links.
Turn off DMs from server members and the most common Discord scam can't reach you.
Telegram groups
Searches for "Oopbuy Telegram" and "Oopbuy links Telegram" lead to groups that share finds and links. We could not confirm an official Oopbuy Telegram channel when we checked. That doesn't make every group bad: many are simply buyers sharing spreadsheets. It does mean the same rules apply more strictly. Open links only if they end at oopbuy.com, don't follow payment requests, and remember that a group admin earning from tracked links has a reason to post a lot of them.
Treat Telegram groups as unofficial link sharing, and check every link's destination.
Getting support that leaves a record
Discord is fast for general questions such as "which line is best for Germany this month?" For anything tied to an order, open a ticket from your Oopbuy account as well. That keeps a written record linked to your order number, which matters if you later need a refund, a compensation coupon for a delayed parcel or a claim for a lost one. Include the order or parcel number, what you expected, what happened and screenshots of QC or rehearsal photos.
When you do ask in Discord, ask in public channels rather than replying to private messages, and never post your order details, address or email publicly.
Ask in Discord, but put anything about money into an account ticket.
Discord, spreadsheets and this site
Discord is good for news and conversation, spreadsheets are good for browsing items, and neither is good at telling you which agents still work. That is what the dated status table on the Oopbuy spreadsheet page is for. If you are new to Oopbuy, how to order from Oopbuy covers the full process, and is Oopbuy legit covers the risks, including the scams described above.
FAQ
What is the official Oopbuy Discord link?
The official invite is discord.com/invite/oopbuyofficial. On 1 October 2026 the server it opens showed about 187,000 members. Check the member count and the server name before joining.
Is there an Oopbuy Telegram?
Telegram groups using the Oopbuy name exist, but we could not confirm an official one. Treat them as community groups and never pay or log in through a link posted there.
Can I get Oopbuy coupons on Discord?
Sometimes. Oopbuy runs events on Discord; one past campaign gave 1,000 points for sharing an event video in a Discord channel, limited to one claim per Discord account. Coupons themselves land in your Oopbuy account wallet.
Is the Oopbuy Discord good for support?
It is one route. For anything involving an order or money, open a ticket from your Oopbuy account as well, so there is a record tied to the order number.
How do I spot a fake Oopbuy Discord?
Small member counts, a name that is close but not exact, staff who message you first, and anyone asking for payment or your password are all warning signs.
