- Redeeming for rewards. Oopbuy's pages advertise redeeming points for rewards, including a "Redeem for Products" option and coupons.
- Short redemption windows. Oopbuy shows reminders such as "Redeem rewards with points — only 48 hours left", so some rewards are only available for a limited time.
The term "points haul" that shows up in searches describes exactly that product-redemption option: using saved points to get items instead of paying for them, then shipping them with a normal parcel. Whether it is worth it depends on the reward catalogue at the time and on shipping, which you still pay. A free item that adds a kilo to your parcel isn't free.
How to check your own points: open your account, look for the points balance next to your wallet, and read the redemption page for what is currently on offer and when each reward expires.
